Bio

My name is Meghan Katherine Portera. People always call me by my middle name, and the usual variation of that which I go by is Kit. If you call me anything else I will remove your testicles with a blunt spork. Even if you're a girl. Nyah.

You can call me Kit Kat only if I really like you. And you don't really like your testicles.

I'm 17 years old and a Junior at a small Catholic high school. If I wanted to be instantly judged and made fun of, I'd list off the fact that I'm bisexual, draconic otherkin, and an ecclectic pagan. I'm not a feminist or a vegitarian though, do I get a cookie?

I have lots of interests. Conveniently, they're almost all listed under the 'interests' section. That's because I'm good at following directions. I like music. I sing in the Select Chorus at school. I play the harp and the oboe. My biggest pet peeve is when people ask me what bands I listen to. So don't. I also really like writing. I read way too much fanfiction at a young and impressionable age, and because of that I'm an admitted slash fangirl.

People have a bitch of a time trying to label me. People have called me everything from emo (OMG glasses!) to goth (OMG black nailpolish!) to preppy (OMG cheerleaded in 5th grade!) to a Geek (OMG dungeons and dragons!). I usually ignore them. Sometimes I make fun of them instead.

I love animals, especially ones of the not-fuzzy variety. I have four goldfish, who are my babies. Their names are Patches, Plato, Peaches, and Pear. I have a betta named Lucius. I have an anole named Cinnamon. They are my friends.

I talk to myself. I take pictures of myself naked and then delete them. I play dress up when I'm home alone. I dance in my underwear. I hate skirts and high heels. I like candlelight. I believe in reincarnation. I don't believe in karma. I don't believe in fate. I don't like very many people. I want to be a hermit. I want to live in a geothermal home by myself and write the next great piece of literary fiction. I want it to be overanalyzed by a class of bored eleventh graders. I want it to have no meaning at all. I could never love someone who thought bringing me flowers was romantic. I don't want to have children of my own. I want to have an impact on someone impressionable. I want to keep my imaginary friends. And that's all you need to know.
